Super Bowl LIX rematch between Eagles and Chiefs headlines NFL Week 2 slate
Philadelphia at Kansas City is FOX’s 'America’s Game of the Week' as a full Sunday slate and two Monday matchups round out Week 2

The NFL’s Week 2 schedule is headlined by a Super Bowl LIX rematch between the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs, which will be televised as FOX’s “America’s Game of the Week” on Sunday, Sept. 14 at 4:25 p.m. ET. The matchup returns the two title-game participants to the regular-season stage in what the network identified as its centerpiece contest for the weekend.
The league opens the week with a Thursday night game when the Washington Commanders visit the Green Bay Packers on Sept. 11 at 8:15 p.m. ET. FOX confirmed the Chiefs-Eagles rematch will be available via the network and will also stream on FOX One.
Sunday’s early slate begins at 1 p.m. ET and will feature multiple regional matchups, including the Jacksonville Jaguars at the Cincinnati Bengals, the New York Giants at the Dallas Cowboys, the Chicago Bears at the Detroit Lions, the Los Angeles Rams at the Tennessee Titans, the New England Patriots at the Miami Dolphins, and the San Francisco 49ers at the New Orleans Saints. Also scheduled for 1 p.m. ET are the Buffalo Bills visiting the New York Jets, the Seattle Seahawks at the Pittsburgh Steelers, and the Cleveland Browns at the Baltimore Ravens.
The afternoon window will include two games starting at 4:05 p.m. ET — the Denver Broncos at the Indianapolis Colts and the Carolina Panthers at the Arizona Cardinals — before the Chiefs and Eagles meet at 4:25 p.m. ET. The evening slot at 8:20 p.m. ET will feature the Minnesota Vikings at the Atlanta Falcons.

The week concludes on Monday, Sept. 15 with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at the Houston Texans at 7 p.m. ET and the Las Vegas Raiders at the Los Angeles Chargers at 10 p.m. ET.
Fox News’ preview of the slate noted that Week 2 will begin to clarify early-season expectations, with teams that underperformed in Week 1 seeking immediate rebounds and those that started well aiming to avoid a second straight loss. The network also promoted streaming access to Sunday’s marquee matchup through FOX One.
The Week 2 lineup presents several divisional tests and high-profile interconference matchups, allowing teams and analysts to evaluate roster adjustments made after the opening weekend. The rematch between the Eagles and Chiefs adds a storyline that ties regular-season play to last season’s championship game, offering a measuring stick for both clubs as they pursue consistency early in the 2025 campaign.

Broadcasters and streaming platforms will carry the games across the weekend, with local and national windows determining availability for certain matchups. The Week 2 schedule gives fans a full weekend of games with national attention centered on the Chiefs and Eagles rematch and a Monday-night doubleheader to close the slate.
