Taylor Swift makes quiet entrance at Chiefs home opener as Travis Kelce plays Eagles
The pop star slipped into Arrowhead Stadium behind a screen for the Kansas City–Philadelphia game, Page Six confirmed, as Kelce spoke about their engagement before kickoff.

Taylor Swift made a low-key entrance to Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday for fiancé Travis Kelce’s first home game of the 2025-26 NFL season, Page Six confirmed, walking behind a large screen to reach her suite.
Video circulating on social media and reported by Page Six showed Swift entering through the screened area; another clip appeared to show her mother, Andrea Swift, moving behind the same structure. Representatives for Swift did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
The quiet arrival came a week after the Chiefs opened their season in São Paulo, Brazil, where they lost 27-21 to the Los Angeles Chargers. Swift did not attend that game and was also absent from the MTV Video Music Awards held two days later.
Before Sunday’s kickoff, Kelce discussed his engagement to Swift in an interview with Fox’s Erin Andrews, saying that she had brought “excitement and a joy for life” that has made him “a better man.” The couple first went public with their relationship in September 2023; Kelce proposed Aug. 10, and the pair announced the engagement on Aug. 26.
On the field, Kansas City and Philadelphia were tied 10-10 at halftime. Kelce, in his 13th NFL season, had two receptions for 34 yards in the first half. He scored his first touchdown of the year in last week’s opener in Brazil. The Chiefs are scheduled to visit the New York Giants on Sunday Night Football next week.

Swift has been a frequent presence at Chiefs games since she and Kelce began dating in 2023, attending multiple regular-season contests and celebrating with Kelce and the team after the Chiefs’ Super Bowl victory in February 2024. Her discreet entry on Sunday was unusual for the pop performer, who has often been photographed on the way into stadiums.
Page Six previously reported that the couple plans a private wedding with family and close friends. Media reports have also described details of Kelce’s proposal and the engagement announcement, including images the pair shared on social media; representatives for the parties have not provided additional comment to press outlets.
The Chiefs and Eagles played amid heightened public interest in Swift’s attendance, but Sunday’s coverage emphasized both the on-field matchup and the spotlight the couple continues to draw. Team and league schedules show Kansas City will look to build on its early-season performance as the regular season progresses.
