Titans' Sneed sparks war of words with Texans' Collins ahead of AFC South showdown

The Houston Texans will host the Tennessee Titans on Sunday in an AFC South divisional showdown, with both teams chasing their first win of the season. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. EDT on Sept. 28.

During Wednesday's media session, Titans cornerback L'Jarius Sneed drew attention by dismissing Texans wide receiver Nico Collins. When asked what would make Collins difficult, Sneed replied, "Who?", and after the reporter clarified the name, repeated, "Who?" with a smirk. Collins later responded, saying, "He knows who I am," and that the game should be fun, adding, "Can't wait for the matchup."

The exchange prompted a measured response from Titans cornerbacks coach and pass game coordinator Tony Oden on Thursday, who tried to downplay the drama. He said the incident was not an 'egg on' moment and that the focus is on preparation and the game. "It definitely wasn't an egging on," Oden said, adding that both players know and respect each other, and that Sunday will be about execution more than trash talk.

Collins enters Week 4 with 181 receiving yards and two touchdowns for Houston. Sneed, who spent the first four seasons of his NFL career with the Kansas City Chiefs, has five tackles over three games this season.

The Titans defense will try to slow a Texans offense led by Collins, while Houston aims to improve on a 0-3 start and capture a crucial divisional victory. The game will kick off at 1 p.m. EDT on Sept. 28 at NRG Stadium in Houston.
