Wan’Dale Robinson says breakout Giants season in contract year taking shape
Giants wide receiver credits an opened playbook, a Moon Ball-throwing quarterback and Malik Nabers for his emergence and says he wants to stay in New York.

Wan’Dale Robinson said the breakout season he desperately needed is taking shape with the New York Giants, aided by a more diverse offense, a Moon Ball-throwing quarterback and Malik Nabers on his other side. The coaching staff has opened up the playbook, allowing Robinson to exercise the full route tree and become the complete receiver he has long believed he could be.
"At the end of the day, I would love to stay here in New York," Robinson told The Post. "This team drafted me and believed in me from the time that I was 21 years old. I don't want to go anywhere else. This organization's great. Everything is done right here. But at the end of the day, I just gotta go out there and play my game and I feel like everything else'll take care of itself from there."
Robinson, a 2022 second-round pick from Kentucky, said the system changes and surrounding talent have unlocked more of his game. He cited Nabers as a constant threat on the opposite side and a quarterback whose delivery can place passes in rhythm, helping him line up inside and outside and run a fuller variety of routes. The Giants’ designers have introduced plays that emphasize quick reads, yards after catch and creative looks to maximize Robinson’s skill set within the offense.
With the season underway, the breakout's success could shape the Giants’ long-term plans for Robinson. A strong 2025 performance could position him for an extension and a continued role in the offense beyond this year, providing a potential future core piece as the franchise rebuilds its pass-catching group.
