WWE Raw Moves to 7 p.m. ET Tonight as John Cena Makes One of His Final Appearances

Monday Night Raw will air at 7 p.m. ET tonight from the MassMutual Center in Springfield, Massachusetts, with John Cena among the advertised names for one of his last appearances on WWE television.

Cena is scheduled to appear on the show ahead of a high-profile match at Wrestlepalooza on Saturday, Sept. 20, when he will face Brock Lesnar. WWE has billed tonight’s stop in Massachusetts as an important domestic appearance for Cena as he winds down his run; his final WWE show is scheduled for Dec. 13 at Saturday Night’s Main Event on Peacock.

WWE announced several segments and matches for the Sept. 15 episode, including an on-screen confrontation featuring CM Punk and AJ Lee with Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch. Promoted matches for the night include Dragon Lee vs. El Grande Americano, Lyra Valkyria vs. Roxanne Perez and Penta vs. Kofi Kingston.

The start time is a temporary change: Raw will begin at 7 p.m. ET for the next couple of weeks, a shift from its usual schedule. WWE’s flagship series has used special start times in recent installments, and the company has informed viewers of the adjusted kickoff for tonight’s broadcast.

For viewers who access Raw through Netflix, the episode will be available on the streaming platform. Netflix subscription plans start at $7.99 per month, with ad-free tiers at $17.99 per month for the Standard plan and $24.99 per month for the Premium option.

Wrestlepalooza on Sept. 20 represents one of WWE’s marquee events in the fall calendar, and Cena’s appearance on Raw is part of the promotional push leading into that match. WWE often uses live television stops to set the stage for pay-per-view and special event matches by staging confrontations, title-related segments and tune-up bouts.

Tonight’s show will be one of several remaining opportunities for fans to see Cena before his advertised December finale on Peacock. Other storylines and match outcomes from Raw may influence matchmaking and promotional angles for Wrestlepalooza and the remainder of WWE’s fall schedule.
