Yankees’ Anthony Volpe appears with Elle Jowett at Greenwich charity gala

New York Yankees shortstop Anthony Volpe attended the Willow Gala in Greenwich, Conn., on Sept. 8, 2025, and posed for photos with a woman identified as Elle Jowett, video from the YES Network shows.

The silent-auction event was organized by the Carlos Rodón Foundation at the Delamar Greenwich Harbor and raised funds to support couples facing infertility and pregnancy loss. Volpe and the woman later posed on a step-and-repeat with Rodón and his wife, Ashley, during the gala.

Public details about Jowett are limited. In a December 2023 TikTok interview she identified herself as a student who had moved to New York City from Maine three months earlier. Her Instagram account carries a verification badge and had about 16,000 followers as of Tuesday. Social-media activity shows the two accounts follow each other and that several Yankees players’ partners, including those of Rodón and outfielder Cody Bellinger’s wife, Chase Carter, have left comments on Jowett’s Instagram.

Jowett posted a TikTok video in June from the Yankees–Red Sox series at Fenway Park in which Volpe appeared at bat. The New York Post reported that it reached out to Jowett and did not receive an immediate reply. Neither Volpe nor Jowett has publicly commented on their appearance together.

Volpe, 24, has had a challenging season on the field. Through the current campaign he is batting .207 with 19 home runs and 70 RBIs, a .269 on-base percentage, and he leads the American League with 19 errors. The statistics reflect struggles both offensively and defensively that have drawn attention as the Yankees navigate the regular season.

The Willow Gala is a fundraising event tied to the Rodóns’ nonprofit work; Carlos Rodón and his wife co-founded the foundation after their own experience with in vitro fertilization and pregnancy loss. The foundation’s silent auction was held to benefit couples confronting similar reproductive challenges.

The appearance came amid heightened public interest in players’ off-field activities and relationships. The social-media exchanges and the red-carpet photos fueled online discussion, but reporting is limited to the photographs and publicly available social-media posts. There has been no public confirmation of a personal relationship from either Volpe or Jowett, and no statement about the matter was released at the event.
