Amazon is offering a 24% discount on Apple’s AirTag 4‑pack, according to a New York Post report, marking one of the largest advertised price drops for the small item trackers on the retail platform this week.

The compact devices are designed to attach to keys, bags, wallets and other belongings so users can locate them through Apple’s Find My app. AirTags pair with an iPhone with a one‑tap setup and can play a sound to help users find nearby items. For iPhones equipped with Apple’s U1 chip, the devices also support “Precision Finding,” which provides directional guidance to a lost AirTag.

Apple says AirTags use the Find My network to report an approximate location when the tagged item is out of Bluetooth range of the owner’s device. The network leverages other Apple devices to help relay location data, enabling users to view the last known position of a missing item in the Find My app. Apple has included multiple privacy and safety features for AirTags, such as rotating identifiers and alerts for users who have an unknown AirTag moving with them. Apple also provides an Android app, Tracker Detect, that can scan for nearby AirTags.

The New York Post reported that more than 10,000 Amazon shoppers purchased the AirTag 4‑pack in the past month, citing those sales as an indicator of consumer interest. The deal was flagged by Post commerce reporter P.J. McCormick, who covers retail discounts and technology bargains.

AirTags are rated for water and dust resistance and are intended for everyday use on items that may be misplaced. Critics and privacy advocates have previously raised concerns about the potential for unwanted tracking using small Bluetooth trackers; Apple has responded in software updates by adding features to detect and alert people about unknown trackers.

Retail promotions can change rapidly. The New York Post noted that deals may expire and that all prices are subject to change, and prospective buyers should confirm the current price and availability on Amazon before completing a purchase.
