One in three adults in the United Kingdom are using artificial intelligence for emotional support or social interaction, according to the AI Security Institute’s first report. The study is based on two years of testing more than 30 unnamed advanced AIs, evaluating capabilities across areas deemed critical to security, including cyber skills, chemistry and biology.
