Turning Point USA expands Charlie Kirk tour with star-studded lineup after Kirk's murder
Kirk assassinated Sept. 10 at Utah Valley University; widow Erika vows to continue campus events as the tour is rebranded Turning Point Tour, with Megyn Kelly, Vivek Ramaswamy and other conservatives slated to appear.

Turning Point USA on Monday announced a star-studded slate of campus speaking dates to carry Charlie Kirk's college tour forward, rebranding the effort as the Turning Point Tour in his honor after his murder on Sept. 10 on the campus of Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah. The organization said the tour will continue to visit colleges nationwide with a lineup that mixes high-profile conservatives and up-and-coming voices.
Kickoff is set for Monday night at the University of Minnesota–Twin Cities, where Michael Knowles will fill in for Kirk as a guest host on the opening leg of the tour. On Wednesday, Megyn Kelly and Republican Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin will bring the tour to Virginia Tech. A Sept. 30 date at Utah State University will feature a roster that includes Alex Clark, Sen. Mike Lee, Utah Gov. Spencer Cox, Rep. Andy Biggs and former GOP Utah Rep. Jason Chaffetz, according to Turning Point USA. Other names set to stand in for Kirk include Vivek Ramaswamy, Gov. Greg Gianforte, Blaze Media CEO Glenn Beck, conservative podcast host Tucker Carlson, commentator Allie Beth Stuckey, Gov. Jeff Landry, actor Rob Schneider and author Frank Turek, with more speakers to be announced, TPUSA said.
The tour is expected to make additional stops at Montana State University, University of North Dakota, University of Oklahoma, Indiana University Bloomington, Louisiana State University, Ole Miss, Auburn University and UC Berkeley, among others. More dates and guest speakers are expected to be announced as TPUSA works to keep Kirk’s campus message alive.
Erika Kirk, Charlie Kirk’s widow, said she intends to uphold the pledge to continue the campus events in her husband’s honor, telling supporters that the speaking circuit would go on despite his death. Her comments underscored the organizers’ aim to maintain momentum for a movement that has long used college campuses as a platform for conservative advocacy and debate.
A memorial has grown outside Turning Point USA’s headquarters in Phoenix, where flowers, candles and balloons have been laid in memory of Kirk. The makeshift tribute has become a focal point for supporters and members of the broader conservative movement following his death on the Utah campus.
The announcement of the Turning Point Tour follows Kirk’s murder on Sept. 10 at Utah Valley University in Orem, a development that TPUSA described as a turning point for its campus outreach. The group said the tour’s branding shift reflects a continued commitment to Kirk’s mission of engaging students across the country.
