80-year-old man identified as Roy Bamber dies after collision involving Toyota Aygo, Citroën Berlingo and Audi A3 at Moorfields Road junction with Tully Road

An 80-year-old man has died after a three-vehicle crash in Ballymena, County Antrim. The collision occurred at the Moorfields Road junction with the Tully Road on 10 September at about 19:05 BST. The vehicles involved were a blue Toyota Aygo, a white Citroën Berlingo and a white Audi A3. The driver of the Aygo was taken to hospital with injuries and died on Friday, police said.

The deceased has been named as Robert Russell Bamber, 80, from the Ballymena area, who went by Roy.

Insp Cherith Adair appealed for information about the crash to help investigators. Police said anyone with information should contact them.

The investigation is ongoing, and authorities have not released further details about the circumstances or any other injuries at this time.
