A man in his 30s was rushed to hospital after a stabbing at Flamingo Land Resort in Kirby Misperton, North Yorkshire, in the early hours of Thursday. North Yorkshire Police said four people have been arrested in connection with the incident, including a 22-year-old man from Stockton-on-Tees.
The stabbing occurred just after 1am near the onsite store at the park, which sits near Pickering. The victim, also in his 30s, is receiving treatment for injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening. Police said the four people arrested remain in custody as inquiries continue. A 22-year-old man from Stockton-on-Tees has been arrested in connection with the stabbing, while a 22-year-old woman, a 54-year-old woman and a 51-year-old man, all from the Teesside area, were arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender. A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Police said: "A 22-year-old man from Stockton-on-Tees has been arrested in connection with a stabbing incident at the Flamingo Land Resort, Kirby Misperton, near Pickering. It happened close to the onsite store just after 1am today (Thursday 18 September 2025). The victim, a man aged in his 30s, suffered injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening. He was taken to hospital by ambulance where he is receiving treatment. A 22-year-old woman, a 54-year-old woman and a 51-year-old man, all from the Teesside area, have been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender. They remain in custody for questioning.
