Three men appear in court accused of kidnapping and raping girl under 13
Trial set for February; defendants remanded in custody at Birmingham Crown Court

Three men have appeared in Birmingham Crown Court charged with false imprisonment, kidnapping and rape of a child under 13. Sadak Ali, 27, Hamza Sharif, 35, and Jake Green, 23, pleaded not guilty to a count of false imprisonment alleged to have occurred between August 24 and 27 this year. Sharif appeared via videolink from HMP Nottingham, while Ali and Green stood in the dock.
All three denied the single false imprisonment charge. Sharif also denies charges of kidnapping and rape of a child under 13. Ali faces additional counts of kidnapping, two counts of rape of a child under 13 and sexual assault of a child under 13. Judge Peter Carr told the defendants that the trial, expected to last five to seven days, is fixed for February 2 next year.
Ali, of Foxton Road, Birmingham, and Sharif and Green, both of St Margaret’s Road, Birmingham, were remanded in custody.
