Two boys bailed after knife incident at Royal Leamington Spa College
Lockdown at Warwickshire college linked to a dispute; police say there is no wider risk to the public, and no one was injured.

Police were called to Royal Leamington Spa College in Warwickshire on Tuesday afternoon after reports of a person with a knife. Two boys were arrested on suspicion of violent disorder as officers responded to the incident, and they have since been released on bail until the end of November. The college was put into lockdown during the afternoon, and police said the episode was terrifying for those involved but appeared to stem from a disagreement. No one was injured and there was no wider risk to the public.
A 17-year-old boy remained in custody on Wednesday on suspicion of attempted wounding and possession of an offensive weapon. He was detained at his home shortly after the initial arrests, police said, and the 17-year-old was arrested following a fight that broke out while officers were at the scene. The force has said the 17-year-old remains in custody while inquiries continue.
Police said they were aware of footage of the incident circulating on social media and appealed for anyone with information that could help inquiries to come forward. Authorities added there was no wider threat to the public as the investigation proceeds.
Warwickshire Police said the investigation remains ongoing and asked anyone with information to contact the force or its crime-stoppers line.
