Two teenagers die after car crash in Oxted; man arrested
A 30-year-old man from Oxted was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and causing serious injury by dangerous driving after a white Tesla collided with a tree on Holland Road in the Hurst Green area.

Two teenage men have died after a car crash into a tree in the Hurst Green area of Oxted, Surrey. Police said a white Tesla collided with a tree on Holland Road near the junction with Popes Lane shortly before 22:00 GMT on Saturday. A 30-year-old man from Oxted was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
One teenager died at the scene and the second died later in hospital, while a third teenage boy remains in hospital with life-threatening injuries. The driver of the Tesla was taken to hospital with serious injuries, police said.
Holland Road was closed between the Popes Lane junction and the Warren Lane junction while officers carried out inquiries on Sunday. The force said investigators would remain at the scene as they examined evidence and spoke to witnesses. Police urged anyone who witnessed the collision or who has dashcam footage to contact Surrey Police with information.
